Sapta Rajasa Kapital (SRK) signed an MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) with The Region of East Kutai Company for National Resources Developments, Finance and General Trading, PT. Kutai Timur Investama (KTI) on August 1st 2007 for HSD ("Solar") Supply, as the following of these MOA, SRK and KTI set up a New Joint Venture Company, "PT. Sapta Rajasa Investama (SRI)" on August 31st, 2007. PT. Sapta Rajasa Investama (SRI) is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Company to deliver almost 40,000 tonnes/month HSD Supply to buyer surrounded Sangatta, Tarakan and Samarinda area for the first phase and SRK is the back up investor and it will start next month (October 2007) for 1st delivery, said Anung Nugroho, The President Director of PT. Kutai Timur Investama. Furthermore since the opportunity to conduct an investment in East Kutai, in relation with Malloy Special Economic Development Zone Area, especially for Infrastructure, and inline with this HSD Project, PT. Sapta Rajasa Kapital will build Bunker Services with capacity around 3,000 ton up to 5,000 ton in 3 areas: Sangatta, Tarakan and Samarinda. For this bunker services, our negotiation with our international partner almost closes deal, and it will cost more than 18 million USD, said Ferry. The vision of our company, said The Chairman and The President Director of SRK, other than seeking gain for the business, we would also like to bring up the basic standard of living of the local community especially in East Kutai, East Kalimantan and Indonesian people generally to be equal with international community remembering that East Kalimantan is one of The Richest Province in Indonesia, so that at the same time, SRK has already started to arrange from the basic investment, implementation and also arranging an endorsement from the international community for the quality of this project as well as local community development, said Arief P.
