Lagu "Snooze" diciptakan SZA bersama produser rekaman AS Kenneth Brian Edmonds alias Babyface, produser rekaman Skotlandia Blair Ferguson alias BLK Beats, produser rekaman AS Leon Thomas III dan produser rekaman AS Khristopher Riddick-Tynes.
Lagu itu bercerita tentang kerinduan seseorang terhadap kekasih yang dicintainya.
Video musik yang menyertai lagu "Snooze" di Youtube yang disutradarai Bradley J. Calder dan menampilkan sejumlah model pria termasuk Justin Bieber, telah memperoleh lebih dari 86 juta kali pemutaran sejak dirilis pada 25 Agustus 2023.

SZA, diucapkan sebagai "siz-za", merupakan nama panggung dari peraih Grammy Solana Rowe. Nama itu diambil dari Supreme Alphabet, sebuah konsep yang diperkenalkan oleh gerakan pemeluk agama Islam keturunan Afro-Amerika Five-Percent Nation untuk menginterpretasi huruf latin.
