Selain di platform media sosial, khususnya TikTok, di mana sejumlah konten penggunanya memakai lagu "One Of The Girls" sebagai latar. Lagu itu juga memikat perhatian pengguna Spotify dengan liriknya yang provokatif dan melodi yang adiktif mengikuti kompleksitas karakter dan plot cerita "The Idol" yang penuh intrik.
Hingga 7 Oktober, lagu "One Of The Girls" telah diputar lebih dari 1,275 miliar kali, melewati "Money" yang dipopulerkan oleh salah satu personel Blackpink, Lalisa Manoban di Spotify dengan 1,240 miliar kali pemutaran.
Lagu "One Of The Girls" diciptakan oleh Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye dan Lily-Rose Depp bersama produser musik Mike Dean dan Sage Skolfield, musisi Rebecca Fisher alias Ramsey, dan pembuat film dan serial Sam Levinson.
Video musik resmi "One of the Girls" yang dirilis pada 6 Juli 2023, mengikuti karakter yang diperankan oleh Jennie, The Weeknd, dan Lily-Rose Depp di serial itu.
Jennie, personel BLACKPINK, yang juga membuat debut aktingnya dalam serial "The Idol" memerankan penari latarnya Depp bernama Dyanne. Sedangkan Depp, putri dari aktor kawakan Johnny Depp memerankan penyanyi pop berbakat Jocelyn. Dia menjalin hubungan rumit dengan guru pengembangan diri dan pemimpin sekte kharismatik Tedros yang diperankan oleh Abel Tesfaye.
