Dalam video di kanal Youtube Entertainment Tonight, Levine mengungkapkan bahwa lagu "She Will Be Loved" merupakan representasi sudut pandang pihak ketiga sebagai pengamat hubungan yang sedang tidak harmonis antara seorang wanita dengan seorang pria.
Lagu itu masuk nominasi penghargaan tahunan Grammy ke-47 untuk kategori "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Grup with Vocal".
Lagu itu terjual lebih dari 3,5 juta kopi di Amerika Serikat hingga 15 Juni 2014.
Video musik "She Will Be Loved" di Youtube yang terinspirasi dari film "The Graduate" menampilkan Adam Levine digoda oleh ibu pacarnya yang diperankan oleh mendiang Kelly Preston juga memperoleh lebih dari 793 juta kali pemutaran sejak diunggah 17 Juni 2009.
