Bengkulu (ANTARA News) - The waves in the West Indian Ocean in Bengkulu may reach a height of up to four meters but its current average height is three meters.
The waves in Enggano waters also reached a height of 2.5 meters.
Four meters high waves may also prevail up to the waters southwest of Lampung, an analyst of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of the Fatmawati Soekarno Meteorology Station in Bengkulu Harist Syahid Hakim said on Wednesday.
He said the waves in Bengkulu waters may reach a height of 2.5 meters and the wind in the area is blowing from the east to south at a speed of 5-18 knots.

The wind in the West Indies Ocean in Bengkulu may be blowing from the east to the south at a speed of 7-20 knots, and the sky in the area may be cloudy.
